Bear Complex

We did a quick WOD at CrossFit Worthy in Mount Pleasant before Jeremy gave his Paleo Challenge presentation.

The Bear Complex
5 rounds, not for time.
Each round consists of 7 circuits of;

  • 1 Power Clean
  • 1 Front Squat
  • 1 Push Press
  • 1 Back Squat
  • 1 Push Press

  1. CW: 45, 65, 75, 85. DNF because we ran out of time. 85# was very hard, but not impossible. Possibly a PR on this workout. I jumped an extra 10# on the 2nd set because of the plates; I was planning to do round 5 at 85. It went well enough that I spent the drive up afterwards wondering how I would have fared with 95#. Very fish-that-got-away stuff.

  2. CW: O.k., I looked it up. I did this last year. I ended up at 85# last time too, but only started with 15#. So kind of a PR since I did more work overall. Yay!

  3. I only had time for four rounds also. 20-30-40-50. Could go heavier. Start with 35 next time.
