Run, HR Push-ups, Hang Snatch

Home again.

Warmup (10’)
NORCAL with 400m run
Skill/Strength (15’)
  • Pressing Snatch Balance [wmv][mov] slo-mo [wmv]
Start with pvc, work up to heavy with good form.
3 rounds for time:
  • 200m Run  I [wmv][mov] II [wmv][mov]
  • 15 Hand-Release Push-up
  • 5 Hang Snatch 75% [wmv][mov]
Time limit:  15 minutes
Stretching (5’)


  1. CW: Pressing snatch balance: 23 x 35#
    WOD: 10:09 with 25# hang snatch. Nice, short and sweet. Easy weight so I worked on the bottom position; felt pretty good.
    I'll do the 10' squat, I promise!

  2. Way to go, sweetie-o! I'll do this one tomorrow.

  3. 11:31. I used jumpropes instead of the run due to knee problems. This gave me a chance to work on my hollow form. I liked this WOD. I tend to like any WOD that has to do with bar form these days. My sub was 200 jumpropes instead of the 200m runs.

  4. Oh! Also, the weight for the snatch was 25# this time. I'm still working on form, and also nursing a shoulder problem.
