CrossFit Games Open 12.5; Thrusters, Pull-ups

Complete as many reps as possible in 7 minutes of the following rep scheme:
100 pound Thruster, 3 reps
3 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 6 reps
6 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 9 reps
9 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 12 reps
12 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 15 reps
15 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 18 reps
18 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 21 reps
21 Chest to bar Pull-ups...
This is a timed workout. If you complete the round of 21, go on to 24. If you complete 24, go on to 27, etc.

    The 100# thrusters were no big problem, I did them in the first minute. I spent the rest of my time trying without success for my first C2B pull-up. I had 2 - 4 good tries in me. I came pretty close. That would have been nice, I wanted to get a score of 4.

    The upside is the extra effort made for really great regular pull-ups. Maybe we'll have a repeat next year!

  2. Score: 27! I did my first C2B's!! Not conventional, but legal. Each one took a Kip to get to the right height, then a forceful kick toward the bar to get the chest touch. Each one was done one at a time. Goal: to develop a smooth string of several C2B's. Overall I was quite happy to have achieved this.
